Installation and maintenance
1, indoor installation: LED lights for interior decoration, because they do not have to withstand wind and rain, so the installation is very simple. Taking LED light strips produced by Guanghong Electronics as an example, each LED light strip is affixed with self-adhesive 3M double-sided adhesive tape. When installing, the 3M double-sided adhesive surface sticker can be directly torn off, and then the light strips can be fixed. Where it is installed, flatten it by hand. As for where there is a need for a corner or a long time, what should be done? It is very simple, the LED light strip is a circuit structure which is composed of 3 LEDs as a series and parallel connection, and each 3 LEDs can be cut and used alone.
2, outdoor installation: Outdoor installation will be subjected to wind and rain, if the use of 3M glue fixed, the time will result in 3M adhesiveness decreased and led to the LED light strip off, so the outdoor installation often use the slot fixed way. Where cutting and connecting are required, the method is the same as indoor installation except that waterproof glue is additionally provided to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection points.
3, power connection method: LED lights with a general voltage of DC 12V, so you need to use the switching power supply, the size of the power supply according to the LED lamp power and connection length. If you do not want to use a power supply to control each LED strip, you can purchase a switching power supply with a relatively high power as the main power supply, and then connect all the LED lights in parallel with the input power (if the wire size is not enough, you can extend it). Unified power supply from the main switching power supply. The advantage of this is that it can be controlled centrally. Inconvenient places cannot achieve the lighting effect and switch control of a single LED strip. The specific way to use it can be measured by itself.
4, the controller connection: LED Marquee and RGB full-color light belt need to use the controller to achieve the changing effect, and each controller's control distance is not the same, in general, the simple controller control distance is 10 to 15 meters, remote control controller control distance is 15 to 20 meters, the longest can be controlled to a distance of 30 meters. If the LED light strips have a long connection distance and the controller cannot control the length of the light strips, a power amplifier is required to perform tapping.
5. Pay attention to the connecting distance of the LED light strips: Generally, the 3528 series LED light strips have a connection distance of up to 20 meters. The 5050 series LED strips have a maximum connection distance of 15 meters. If this connection distance is exceeded, the LED strips are prone to heat, and the lifetime of the LED strips is affected during use. Therefore, when installing, it must be installed according to the manufacturer's requirements. Do not overload the LED lamp.
1, anti-static: As the LED is electrostatic static components, if you are repairing LED lights with no anti-static measures, it will burn the LED, forming a waste of fees. There is a need to pay attention to the fact that the soldering iron must use anti-static soldering iron, and the same personnel must also implement anti-static measures (such as wearing an electrostatic ring and anti-static gloves, etc.).
2. Continuation of low temperatures: The two main groups of LED strips are LEDs and FPCs, both of which are not capable of sustaining low-temperature cargoes. If the FPC is continuing its low temperature or exceeds its acceptance measure, it will cause the FPC's cover film to crack, and indirectly form LED lights with scrap. At the same time, the LED has not been able to withstand low temperatures. It is under the low temperature for a long time, and its chips will be burned at low temperatures. Therefore, the soldering iron adopted when cultivating the LED light strips must adopt the temperature-controlled soldering iron, which limits the measurement within one degree, and prevents arbitrarily changing and setting. In addition, even if this is the case, there is a need to pay attention to the fact that the soldering iron does not have to stop at the foot of the LED for more than 10 seconds. If you exceed a certain time, you will be able to burn the LED chip.
3, short circuit: Many LED lights with no light is due to short-circuit at the foot position, before the training is certainly to investigate the real no good reason. Otherwise, after replacing the LED that is not lit, the chip that forms the LED will be short-circuited by a direct current after it is returned again. Because it is changing the new LED in advance, we must first find the true cause of the lack of light, and aim at the ability to do less.
